Happy 3 year Wedding Anniversary!!!

When I think that 3 years has already passed since our wedding day, September 30, 2006...wow! So much has changed! We have moved cross country and back, bought our first home, have the most wonderful baby girl in the world, and now I'm back in school! We have been through living thousands of miles from family or friends, sickness, surgeries, hospitalizations, deaths in the family, job changes, and so much more! I am so glad all that has brought us closer and so proud of all we have survived and accomplished together! I love him more than the day I married him!

PS- Is it vain that while looking through my wedding photos, my most prominent thought (aside from how wonderful the day was) is how much thinner and younger I use to look. Grrrrr! Depressing...

A Sea of Orange

Tonight is the night Texas fans have been waiting for since November 2008. This is the night the injustice of last year will be corrected. Tonight, The University of Texas will play Tech and they will DEMOLISH them! Tech is a dirty team, with dirty players, and a scumbag of a coach (and no, I don't say that about every team ONLY Tech). I hope Texas comes out, not only to win, but to DESTROY! No more 1 second mistakes, no more red and black to blind us, this is OUR home! When the Techies look up tonight, I hope they feel nothing but fear. Fear of the Sea of Orange....

HOOK EM HORNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We Will Never Forget

GOD BLESS AMERICA

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.

Now I just have to get through this school week. It is only the second week of school, and I already feel like I'm drowning in work. I don't know how I will make it through the next 21 months. Oh my...
