Day 3 of our Caribbean cruise- Progreso!

Monday was our first Port of Call in Progreso, Mexico! The beach was beautiful and everything else was....an experience, lol. Mexico is a scary place, that's for sure!

Finally off the boat in Progreso!

On our way to Corona Beach. Mexico, it's an experience, lol!

Finally on the BEACH!!!

The girls keeping cool in the water!

Headed back to the boat after a fun day on the beach!

Ready for dinner!!!

Tonights appetizer, fried mozzarella....mmmmmmm!

Tonights dinner: Chili Relleno. My one disappointing meal.

Chris thought the towel animal looked best with my underwear on it.

Killing time while everyone changed and made drinks :o)

We spent a few hours at the piano bar after dinner!

We ended the night watching thunderstorms on our balcony and playing games!

Day 2 of our Caribbean cruise...

The first full day on the ship we woke up to thunderstorms! Sounds like a bummer but it really wasn't! Chris slept in and I enjoyed my breakfast while watching all the storms out at sea. It was really cool! Seeing all the lightning off in the distance was a neat experience.

Since it was pouring, lunch on the Lido deck wasn't an option, so we had lunch in the dining room. My veggies fajitas were goooooood!

After lunch it was still raining, so we went to an art auction (they were serving free champagne...)

Laura and Morgan managed to catch some sun but the other 4 of us tried the pool area before and after the art auction only to find it pouring both times! Fortunately, the bar is covered so we could get out coconut monkeys :o)

(Note the foggy lens. The humidity was awful!)

The sun came out right before sunset!

And since it was formal night, we did a little photo shoot on the balcony!

Before dinner drinks...mmmmmm!

The girls lookin all fancy before dinner!

The best appetizer on the cruise, stuffed mushrooms. They were incredible...I should have ordered 2...or 10.

LOBSTER NIGHT!!! I want more. Now.

My dessert for the night (and most every night...) Warm Chocolate Melting Cake. I feel certain they serve this in Heaven.

Our towel animal for the night. The only one liked...I think it's an elephant!?!

A view of the lights right outside of the dining room.

After dinner the 4 of us headed to the club on the ship which was disappointingly LAME! Everyone in there was practically old enough to be our parents but under the obviously false impression they were still in college. It was painful.

I think this is Gary's way of saying...."can we go now?"

After this we headed to the piano bar and then back to the room for games! Another awesome day!
