Home buyer woes...

Chris and I were suppose to close on our house tomorrow. Sadly, that will not be happening. After some HUGE mistakes by the appraiser and some half baked "repairs" by the builder, it will not be ready for a while...if ever (for us anyway). Chris and I have completely fallen in love with this house, our apartment is 99% boxed, and we are at our wits end. Still, we are asked to wait...fork out more money...and put more trust in those who do NOT deserve it.

My prayer request is that Chris and I will put no trust in those here on Earth but in the Lord. If this house is meant to be, it will be. Though we have hung so many hopes and dreams on this house (which we have no one to blame for but ourselves). We pray for HIS direction and to follow it. I just want to do what is meant to be, not what is forced to be because we are fed up and have sunk so much money into it already. (I don't mean to sound shallow, believe me I KNOW there are bigger issues in the world like dying babies, cancer, divorce, etc. This is such a big thing in OUR lives right now though)

I have hesitated to post a picture from day one, I think because I am such a darn pessimist, so I will post one. Here is the house we hope and pray becomes our HOME! It already feel so much like home! Please feel free to brag on it :o) On the other hand, feel free to tell us our new house is MUCH cuter if this one falls through :o) :o) :o)

All in all Chris has a fantastic weekend. A lot of people went out of the way to make his 26th extra special, and I think it worked :o)

I'M IN!!!

I just checked the mail and received my ACCEPTANCE LETTER into the Vet Tech program at Tomball College! I am so excited, relieved, nervous, etc! I have orientation June 25, and then, as of August 25, I will be a full time student again! It's crazy! I did so well my first 3 years of college (Nursing school), and I am hoping I haven't lost my touch since I've been in the working world!

My last day of work is THIS Thursday so what a relief to know I have a plan for the future!

On another note, I'm hoping to post pics of our house soon!
