February Recap

Yes, I have definitely resorted to once monthly posting. I figure, since all of 5 people read my blog, who cares!?! At least my once monthly posts are long!

So let's start things off with a little Mylie cuteness because, let's face it, she's the best way to start any post!

The first Friday in Feb it was COLD. As in highs in the teens. And wet. It was the ice apocalypse. That didn't stop Laura and Morgan from bravely finding their way over to spend the night! We had great food and drinks, a roaring fire all night, COD playing, and funny pups to entertain us. I loved the weather even more with company to enjoy it with!

(YES, that is my Christmas Tree in the background. I love having a 10ft tree but dang, finding a bag for it under $150 has proven impossible! We ordered one and the tree will be down this week.)

How is Mackenzie 15 already!?! She was just 7 yrs old when Chris and I started dating! Crazy how time flies!

The first Sunday of Feb we were invited to precious Bennett's baptism, and we were so honored to go! He is such a sweet boy. What a joy he is to everyone who knows him! We love his sweet Mommy and Daddy too!

The second Saturday of Feb we all got together at Courtney and Gary's to celebrate Courtney's Birthday. It was a really fun, low key night just drinks, COD, and catching up!

I came home from school on Valentine's Day and Chris surprised me with 2 dozen roses and a charm from James Avery! The roses were amazing and stayed that way for almost 2 wks!

My brother got married Feb 26 and since Chris and Gary were groomsmen, Courtney and I were forced to join in alllllllll the wedding festivities, as well. The rehearsal ended up being a little stressful for the guys, so before the rehearsal dinner Courtney, Gary, Jeremy, Sarah, Chris and I went to Wolfie's and had a couple drinks. We had the whole group of cousins over after the dinner, but I didn't get ANY pictures! I'll get Courtney's from her eventually!

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say, see ya next month! Although, my best friend is getting married this weekend, so I may end up doing a very special post afterward with all the pictures! There will be TONS!
